B1-Visa Support
What is a B-1 Visa?
The B-1 visa is a non-immigrant visa used by foreign citizens who intend to enter the United States temporarily for business or personal purposes. It is typically required for those wishing to stay for a period longer than 90 days.
Who needs a B-1 Visa?
A B-1 visa is necessary for foreign citizens desiring to visit the United States temporarily for business or personal purposes longer than 90 days. Such business purposes may include: attending business conventions and conferences, performing independent research, giving lectures, negotiating contracts, settling estates, and servicing equipment. Such personal purposes may include: tourism, visiting friends and relatives, and medical treatment.
It generally cannot be used by students, temporary workers, or members of foreign media.
Applicants must be able to provide the specific purpose and time period of their visit, evidence of funds to cover expenses, and proof of a main residence outside of the United States.
How do I apply for the B-1 Visa?
Visas to the United States are normally obtained through the foreign country’s US embassy or consulate. Unfortunately, the rejection rate for B-1 visa applications is very high. Therefore, the GACCC offers a visa assistance service in which the application is thoroughly analyzed and reviewed before it is sent to the US Consulate.
Our service includes assistance with the completion of all necessary documents, advice on regulatory information, and an extensive telephone consultation to prepare for the required interview at the US Consulate.
